About Our Owner

Ms. April Chandler (pictured on left) is a native of Florence Alabama born and raised. Ms. Chandler is a mother of 3, she has worked with developmentally challenged children and adults while also serving as a private duty sitter for several families throughout the Shoals Area. Ms. Chandler has always been actively involved within her community working with children and implementing programs for mentoring, restoring, and encouraging youth of all ages. In 2000, Ms. Chandler began a nonprofit called Operation Outreach in which provided fun activities, hope, wisdom, and support to several children in her community. Ms. Chandler is a born again believer of Jesus Christ and has also supported the youth ministry at her church. After having to witness her mother battle with lung cancer, Ms. Chandler’s personal desire to help others grew even fonder and because of her hands on experience with caring for her mother (pictured on the right)  and the support she received from hospice her personal desire to serve others was a definite true mission. For many years Ms. Chandler shuffled scrubs and a overnight bag house to house from the trunk of her car. Serving one family at a time, through personal interaction, dedication and word of mouth Pride Senior Care LLC began to flourish in which she then created an office space at the bar area in her home onto a corner section within her living room. On February 15th 2019, Ms. Chandler moved from her home office into her very first storefront location at 879 Florence Blvd. Florence Al,35630.  Ms. Chandler gives all praises to God for the continued growth/development of PRIDE SENIOR CARE LLC and the new opportunities that have opened for her business and as of October 1st 2019 the company has relocated to 1102 Bradshaw Drive. Ms. Chandler gives credit to so many of her past, and present clients through their support, dedication, and encouragement what was once a dream has become a reality and in her words " its truly been a pleasure to serve'!
